Interior Finishing

Today the walls were finished and glued to the interior.

Counter Top

Here Ian and John are sanding the counter top, which was made like a cutting board from various scraps of wood.















The counter was oiled so that any scratches can be sanded out and surface re-oiled for easy touch ups.

















The counter finished and placed in the trailer.

The rear completed with stain and a gloss finish.

Raised Panel Doors

Today the raised panel doors were assembled. They will be left in clamps overnight to set properly.

Rear Cabinets

Today the rear cabinets and shelving are near completion, they will be completed with raised panel doors.

Today the hinges were fastened to the trailer walls, and the doors were hung.

Today the hinges were made and the doors were prepared for windows and to be placed on the trailer.

Our hinge was made in the shape of the trailer. The hinges are made of 1/8" steel plate.

Making Progress

Our trailer is taking shape quickly.

Assembly Process

Yesterday the students assembled the sides and floor, and attached them to the frame.































There is a countertop in the rear, as well as an area to acommodate coolers and other camping accessories.

Trailer Jacks Completed

Over the weekend, the stabilizing jacks were welded onto the frame.















Our next step is to fasten the floor and sides to the frame.

The student here is marking the position of each fastener, so holes can be drilled for countersinking.
